The balance of opinion on the internet tends to suggest that in both the UK and the US, the neo-cons are vastly outnumbered by what they refer to as 'liberals' (in a tone of voice that implies it is a swear word)
So I guess what I'm wondering is, how the hell are Bush & Blair still in power?

Maybe the answer lives within this diagram.
I assume that liberals have evolved further down the evolutionary line than Neocons . Hence many of the Neocons who would love to express their nationalistic , xenophobic , hate speech have yet to find a way to prevent their knuckles from dragging along the floor.

Being more honest. Sadly the Neocon machine is still very much in full swing(pun intended) My site is constantly bombarded by them. They are certainly a dying breed , but they ain't half making a lot of noise as they die.
It's like watching an old cowboy film when the wounded cowboy takes the last twenty minutes of the film to finally kick the bucket.
